Data is needed to run the service, not to sell it
We aim to collect only the information needed to operate ix.ua, provide authentication, maintain security and support mutual-help features.
✓Personal data is not soldix.ua does not provide its user database to third parties for advertising or commercial use.

Data collection and use
1.1. This Policy was prepared with regard to the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and describes how data is processed when ix.ua is used.
1.2. The Site may process a name or nickname, email address, technical connection data (including IP address), cookies, authentication data and information that a User voluntarily adds to a profile, requests, offers or help confirmations.
1.3. Data is used for registration and authentication, Site functionality, communication with the User, abuse prevention, security and displaying help history according to service settings.

Data protection and security
2.1. The Administration applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against accidental loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized access.
2.2. Information transmitted over the internet cannot be completely secure. The Administration and owners of technical infrastructure cannot guarantee absolute protection against targeted criminal cyberattacks, but they take available measures to reduce risk.
2.3. If a significant personal-data security breach is detected, the Administration will take necessary measures and, where required, notify Users through the Site or available contact details.

Sharing data with third parties
3.1. The Administration does not sell Users’ personal data or provide it to third parties for independent commercial use.
3.2. Certain technical providers may process the minimum data necessary for authentication, email, hosting or Site protection — only to the extent required for the relevant service.
3.3. Data may be provided to competent public authorities in cases and according to procedures expressly provided by Ukrainian law.
3.4. A legal entity that owns the domain or server infrastructure does not, by that fact alone, obtain the right to use the Users’ personal-data database for its own purposes.

Cookies and technical data
4.1. The Site may use cookies and similar technical mechanisms required for sessions, authentication, language selection, security and stable operation.
4.2. A user may restrict cookies in their browser, but some Site features may then work incorrectly.

User rights and data retention
5.1. A User may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data where provided by law and the technical rules of the service.
5.2. Data is retained no longer than necessary for processing purposes, account operation, security, legal compliance and preserving the integrity of confirmed help chains.

Changes to this Policy
6.1. The Administration may update this Policy due to changes in Site features, technical processes or legislation.
6.2. A new version takes effect when it is published on the Site unless another date is stated.

Do not publish documents, passwords, banking details or other information that is not needed for a specific act of mutual help in public fields.
